A graduate of the United States Naval Academy with a Bachelor of Science in Ocean Engineering, Brian’s career commenced with a calling to protect the innocent from harm. His ten years as a U.S. Navy Special Operations Officer imbued him with a profound understanding of high-stakes strategy development and execution, where he excelled in roles demanding meticulous operational and technical expertise. His tenure in the Navy is punctuated by significant achievements, including leading numerous missions as a Counter-IED Platoon Commander and serving in key leadership positions within the United States Special Operations Command. For his exemplary service, he received the Bronze Star Medal for leadership in combat operations and the Defense Meritorious Service Medal for orchestrating Joint Task Force operations to defend our nation against the most grave threats.

Guided by a calling to serve the Kingdom beyond his military career, Brian pursued and achieved a Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, honing his strategic acumen in business and management. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish Voyage, a private equity investment firm driven by a vision to transform businesses for the Lord’s glory. His leadership and endeavors at Voyage stand as a testament to the truth expressed in Psalm 24 that the earth is the Lord’s and everything in it. No degree of personal ownership or success will overshadow the fundamental truth that we are mere stewards of the Lord’s resources, regardless of our pursuits.

Prior to Voyage, Brian’s dedication to Kingdom impact was further evidenced in his role as Operations Director at Impact Waco, a ministry of Antioch Community Church in Waco, Texas. Here, he pressed into some of the most challenging issues facing the community, including youth disempowerment, addiction, and human trafficking. His strategic and operational insights were pivotal in shaping these initiatives, notably including the integration of anti-trafficking efforts into the now autonomous and unified organization of Unbound Now.

His grace-filled journey from a decorated military veteran to a strategic entrepreneur has shaped him into a visionary leader, uniquely equipped to guide Unbound Now with a distinct perspective as its Chief Executive.
