When Corporate Service Meets Urgent Need

On Deloitte’s annual Impact Day, teams across the nation step away from their desks and into service. This year, we had the privilege of hosting Deloitte employees from Dallas at our North Texas office for a hands-on volunteer project—and the timing couldn’t have been more powerful.

The team brought with them donated supplies and assembled dozens of go-bags: emergency resource kits we provide to survivors of human trafficking at the moment of crisis. Each bag includes hygiene items, comfort items, and essentials that meet immediate physical and emotional needs.

Just as the last bag was packed, one of our Advocates stepped out the door with two in hand—on her way to meet survivors who needed them.

The impact was instant.

But the morning wasn’t just about assembling supplies. As we worked side by side, we shared about the complex challenges of human trafficking in our region and the strategies that are working to disrupt it—ranging from proactive identification to coordinated crisis response and aftercare.

Deloitte’s commitment to making a difference, both in and beyond the workplace, aligns powerfully with our mission. We are grateful not only for their generosity, but for the long-term collaboration being cultivated.

Because when business leaders invest in community solutions, hope multiplies.

Thank you, Deloitte, for using your Impact Day to bring tangible care to survivors and meaningful momentum to this mission.
