Kristi Hayes

As the Chief Leadership and Culture Officer, Kristi provides visionary leadership, strategic oversight, and operational support to Unbound Now’s local offices. She works to ensure that each location is equipped, resourced, and aligned with Unbound Now’s mission to support survivors of human trafficking and ignite hope through excellent office and regional leaders.

Kristi has served as the Regional Director of Unbound Now Central Texas, overseeing the Waco and Austin offices, giving her firsthand experience of the challenges and realities faced in local communities.

She is also the Chair of the Heart of Texas Human Trafficking Coalition, where she helps lead task forces addressing systemic issues affecting survivors.

With a background advocating for non-profits on Capitol Hill and contributing to the White House press advance office, Kristi brings extensive experience in policy and advocacy.

Early in her career, she ran her business out of a homeless shelter, providing direct support to individuals experiencing homelessness and other vulnerable populations.

She is the founder of Be Strong Story, a platform inspiring others to “Be Love” in their communities.

Drawing on over 15 years of hands-on experience supporting families and at-risk populations, Kristi authored The Lunchbox Note: A Story of Loving Others, based on her family’s true story.

She also hosts the podcast BE LOVE.do good, sharing stories and strategies to create meaningful impact.
