Stephanie Byrd is the Chief Operating Officer at Unbound Now. She oversees the day-to-day operations of the organization and collaborates with the CEO and other leadership to set strategic goals and implement programmatic and administrative functions. Having served in a variety of leadership roles at Unbound Now, she is uniquely qualified for her role, which includes being intimately involved with a host of processes, policies, and functions at work.

Stephanie holds a B.A. from Vanderbilt University, a J.D. from St. Mary’s University School of Law, and a Master’s in Church State Studies from Baylor University. She began volunteering with Unbound Now in 2014 as a community liaison. In 2017 she became the Executive Director of Unbound Now’s North Texas office. In 2020, she transitioned to Unbound Now’s HQ team as Director of Strategic Growth, and in August of 2022 she became the COO as Unbound Now integrated its Texas offices.

Stephanie participated in the child sex trafficking protocol development process for Tarrant, Denton, and Johnson counties and continues to serve on the Denton County Child Sex Trafficking Advisory Council. She serves on the steering committee of the 5-Stones Taskforce and on the Care Coordination State Partner Advisory Council (CCSPAC).

Stephanie is thankful to be part of the great team at Unbound Now and is passionate about seeing an end to human trafficking. Stephanie lives in Fort Worth, Texas with her husband and three adult children.
