Orange County, CA
UnBound Orange County believes that by uniting local churches, organizations, law enforcement, government, businesses and others in our community, we will see human trafficking abolished in our county. Based on Polaris Project’s number of calls and cases brought in through the national hotline, California is the top state for human trafficking. By working together, we can see an end to this in our state. We are activating our community to fight human trafficking through prevention, professional training and survivor advocacy.
Prevention & Awareness
The youth in our city are targets for traffickers, as the average age trafficked within the United States is 12-14. UnBound is passionate about educating not only youth, but also anyone and everyone else in the community. More educated individuals mean more people in our community voting, advocating, identifying reporting, educating, diminishing the demand, volunteering and more. Everyone has a part to play.
UnBound provides professional training to elected officials, lawyers, medical professionals, educators, businesses, staff of hotel/motels, and more to equip all professionals to use their skills to identify and serve victims of human trafficking.
UnBound advocates for survivors by providing for immediate needs and volunteering services to help each survivor through his or her unique restoration process.
